Tampa attorney Roger J. "R.J." Haughey II has been elected as president-elect designate of the Bar's Young Lawyers Division.

Haughey was selected in an uncontested race by the YLD Board of Governors in January. He will be sworn in as YLD president-elect at the Bar 's Annual Convention in June when current President-elect Jewel White Cole becomes the YLD's 2008-09 president. Haughey will begin his presidential term in June 2009.
