ALAMEDA, Calif., Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Beginning at noon today, Japanese TV viewers will be treated to a now type of enhanced broadcasting. Additions to regular programming give them, among other things, push-button access to popular golf information, stock quotes, weather forecasts and trivia questions and let them vote-by-remote for their favorite snowboard, theme parks and actors. This new technology is dramatically different from the current trend towards Internet-over-TV.
