James May and the National Fathers' Network have had a great impact on the lives of many people. Equal Partners, a new video produced with funding from the Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and the Child Health Bureau, continues this work by depicting the unique challenges African American fathers confront in working with health care delivery systems, investigating ways those systems can include African American fathers as "equal partners," and portraying African American men as capable, nurturing and involved in the care of their families.
