DISNEY Channel doesn't show advertisements, so a Santa Monica agency is getting Honda's message on the channel Trojan-horse style: It's a contest promotion, not an ad.
Torrance-based American Honda Motor Co. will be the exclusive automotive sponsor for the film "High School Musical 3: Senior Year," set to open in theaters Oct. 24.
RPA Inc., Honda's agency, has created a 30-second TV spot mixing imagery from the film and the automotive company's Odyssey minivan. The spot will appear on cable and network TV.
