Oct. 18--Halloween is a time for young children to dress up in costumes and trick-or-treat.
Older kids sometimes get left out in the dark.
Not this year, say organizers of the "Hallway of Horrors."
"We have heard that kids were complaining about not having a really good haunted house so we decided to do it," said Scott Summers, one of three organizers of the event. "We felt the kids needed a really scary one this year."
The haunted house will be open at 7 p.m. Oct. 24-25, Oct. 29-31, and Nov. 1 on the second floor of the new Ben Franklin on Main Street. A special kids' night will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. ...
