PORTLAND, Maine--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 1, 1996-- The Maine Board of Environmental Protection (BEP) last week voted unanimously to approve state environmental permits for the Wells LNG project proposed by Granite State Gas Transmission, Inc. The Board's action came after a staff-level review that began in June, 1995 and included full adjudicatory hearings earlier this year.
