FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 3, 1996--SportsLine USA (http://www.sportsline.com) -- the nation's premier online media service devoted exclusively to sports information, entertainment and merchandise, has announced the completion of its third round of private financing led by Denver-based U S WEST Interactive Services Inc., a unit of U S WEST Media Group.
U S WEST Interactive joined New York Life Insurance Co., Transatlantic Venture Partners, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, and other first and second round investors in the $16 million investment.
