GLENS FALLS, N.Y. - The Albany River Rats scored two short-handed goals, including the winner with 4:41 left, to beat the Worcester Sharks, 5-4, before a crowd of 3,788 last night at the Glens Falls Civic Center.

Jamie McGinn gave the Sharks a 4-3 lead with 8:28 to go, but Albany answered with two goals in the final 5:34 to pull out the win.

Worcester defenseman Kyle McLaren suited up for his first AHL game after 719 NHL games, but didn't take a shot as the Sharks fell to 0-2.
