ATLANTA -- Apparel production in Latin America, fueled by NAFTA, is growing more sophisticated, and the impact is evident at the Bobbin Show International/AAMA convention which ends its four-day run here today.
Rolando Bohlemann, sales manager for Latin America, Juki Union Special, said the Spanish-speaking countries are now looking for more sophisticated equipment compared to earlier years when they were buying simpler, more basic units.
