HE'S the bad boy of British art who made his name - and his fortune - with sheep and sharks pickled in formaldehyde.
While they went on public show, however, Damien Hirst's latest project is being kept very much under wraps, as the aerial view on the opposite page shows.
This is Toddington Manor, the rundown 300-room Gloucestershire mansion that the 43-year-old artist bought for ?3million three years ago as a country retreat.
The Grade I listed building is undergoing a mammoth restoration job, surrounded by a vast network of scaffolding and swathes of polythene sheeting as the builders go to work.
