BEAVERTON, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 3, 1996--Protocol Systems Inc. today reported Daniel F. Carsten, co-founder and president of Pryon Corp., has resigned from the company and Protocol's board of directors.
Edward M. Kolasinski, Pryon vice president of finance and chief financial officer, has assumed the position of Pryon president on an interim basis. Protocol will immediately begin an executive search for a permanent Pryon president. Pryon Corp., a leading supplier of CO2 monitoring products to the medical industry, was acquired by Protocol Systems Inc. on July 10, 1996, and is operated as a wholly-owned subsidiary.
