Former company intern drives corporate vision as president.
Miles Arnone learned the machinist trade while working his way through the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), running a 1945 engine lathe. It was a time when there was a lot of consciousness about whether American manufacturing was going to make it.
"I was working with both an American-made and a foreign machine tool. The foreign-made unit just ran and ran while the US product regularly blew up. That frustrated me a lot," he says.
