HOSPITALS in Wales have less than two weeks to remove all unhealthy snacks and drinks from vending machines.
New guidance issued by the Welsh Assembly Government will ban fizzy drinks, sweets, chocolates and crisps from being sold in machines from November 1.
And all food produced by hospital catering departments to be sold in vending machines must comply with the new rules from January 2009.
