ATLANTA, Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- National Data Corporation (NYSE: NDC) (NDC) today announced that it filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a public offering of $125.0 million in convertible notes due 2003. Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Salomon Brothers Inc will underwrite the offering. NDC has also granted the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional $18.8 million to cover over-allotments.
"Proceeds from this offering will be used to repay debt and add to the company's working capital to be available for general corporate purposes, including acquisitions," said NDC Chairman and CEO Robert A. Yellowlees.
