GENEVA, Oct. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- XMIT, the wholly owned network integrator of SWISS TELECOM PTT, has been selected by the World Health Organization to install one of the world's largest ATM (asynchronous transfer mode) networks. The WHO network is being supplied by FORE Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: FORE), a worldwide leader in networking products based on ATM technology.
