LIME ROCK, Conn., Oct. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- The New World Power Corporation (Nasdaq-NNM: NWPC) has announced that effective October 10, 1996, the Company's common stock will be listed on the Nasdaq Small Cap Market via an exception from the minimum bid price. While New World Power was notified of its failure to meet this requirement in August 1996, the Company was granted a temporary exception from this standard subject to New World Power meeting certain conditions. These conditions are accomplishing a 5:1 reverse stock split and entering into a definitive joint venture agreement with Dominion Bridge Corporation by October 31, 1996.
