INTRODUCTION

Polymer blending is a practical technique to obtain materials that combine the properties of the initial constituent polymers. It is a widely used commercial practice, since the initial properties can be adjusted to fulfill specific needs rapidly and low cost by changing the chemical structure of the components, the composition of the blend, and the processing conditions (1).
