ITN was today named as global news launch partner for Google's WiFi enhanced Geolocation API announced at the Google Developer Day in Milan. This enhancement to the Gears Geolocation API allows users to be located to within 100 metres on both latops and mobile phones. Gears is a browser plug-in that lets users access information offline or view content based on geographical location.
