The Penn Brewery has scheduled its annual Octoberfest for September 20-22 and 27-29, 5 p.m. to midnight. A record quantity of the company's Octoberfest Beer will be brewed this year, 1000 barrels, the largest amount in the history of the brewery.
"This is my favorite time of year," says brewers' founder Tom Pastorius. "It's like being in Munich, hosting a giant party with thousands of people enjoying great beer, delicious food, lively entertainment and friendship."
Chef Darrell Borghi, who was helped prepare Octoberfest celebrations in Germany, will serve grilled wurst and chicken, pulled pork sandwiches ...
