GRAND FORKS COUNTY, N.D.--Oct. 8--The number of business establishments in Grand Forks County increased by 37 between 1993 and 1994, according to the latest information from the North Dakota State Data Center at North Dakota State University.
In 1993, Grand Forks County listed 1,766 business establishments and that number increased to 1,803 at the end of 1994. The number of employees also increased, from 24,148 in 1993 to 24,850 in 1994.
The county's annual payroll grew by 6.9 percent, from $24 million in 1993 to $53 million in 1994.
