ILOILO CITY, Oct. 22 (PNA) - The salvage operation of MV Ocean Papa is now nearing completion with its 80 per cent accomplishment as of Tuesday afternoon, said Philippine Coast Guard Western Visayas Information Officer Capt. Harold Jarder.
Capt. Jarder further said that the two divers of the CJ Gaspar Salvage and Lighterage Company who were reported to have been brought to Kalibo hospital last Sunday after suffering from the engine room pressure that has built up are now okay after getting the needed treatment.
The divers suffered shortness of breath because of the pressure but they are now okay with the salvage operation ongoing, Capt. Jarder said.
