Cable&Wireless has been awarded a three-year multi-million pound contract to deliver a managed network service for the Environment Agency using the company s next generation Multi Service Platform (MSP).

The network will increase network capacity and allow the Environment Agency to better serve both the public and the environment.

As part of the agreement, Cable&Wireless will migrate the Environment Agency s existing core infrastructure into a single, high speed, flexible network, connecting its 50 largest sites.
