A NINE-YEAR-OLD girl died after suffering a massive asthma attack at home.

Hannah Foote collapsed and stopped breathing in front of her mother and sister.

Mother Mairi, 37, made a desperate bid to revive Hannah until the arrival of paramedics, who confirmed she had suffered cardiac arrest.

She was taken to Hairmyres Hospital in her home town of East Kilbride, Lanarkshire, but had been starved of oxygen for 30 minutes.

After being revived, Hannah was transferred to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children at Yorkhill, Glasgow, but she died two days later on October 16 with her family by her bedside.
