"It takes forever to get with carriers," said Moderati senior VP of marketing and interim president Cindy Mesaros. It was a sentiment echoed at the Mobile Content and Marketing Expo's panels on open networks and garden walls.
The queue for the carriers is always very full, according to Mesaros and others, as networks extensively test applications on the devices across their networks. AT&T alone manually tests 150 devices.
