An Italian cafe has joined the lineup of restaurants on the second floor of the Fifth Street Public Market in Eugene, replacing Chelsea Grille, whose owner has retired.
Noli Italian Cafe is owned and operated by Davide Mulone and his wife, Maggie McDonald.
Mulone, who also will be the chef, is from Genoa, Italy, and has worked in kitchens in Germany, Italy, Las Vegas and Portland, including the Heathman Hotel and Laurelwood Public House & Brewery. McDonald is originally from Eugene, and had been working as an office manager in Portland.
