Oct. 26--NORTH AUGUSTA -- Georgia Avenue was overrun by all manner of ghosties, ghoulies and goblins -- and residents in search of a good time -- Saturday for the annual City of North Augusta Jack O'Lantern Jubilee.
The city blocked off a section of Georgia Avenue from Carolina Avenue to Buena Vista Avenue for the festival, which featured inflatables and games, a children's costume contest, a pumpkin decorating contest, and performances by the Dance Shoppe, the Palmetto Pickers, Carolina Dance, Suzuki Strings of Augusta, NoStar and a children's Jazzercize demonstration.
