NEW YORK -- Levi Strauss & Co. has named Gordon D. Shank president of a new "Americas" division that encompasses its Canadian, U.S. and Latin American operations.
The Canadian-born Shank, who's been with Levi's for 22 years, has been president of the Asia Pacific division since August. Shank will be based in San Francisco. Jim Fraser, currently general manager of Levi Strauss Japan, succeeds Shank as president of the Asia Pacific division.
Levi's has merged Levi Strauss North America, the division that ran the company's businesses in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, with its Latin American operation to create the Americas division. Latin America was under Levi ...
