SPRINGBOK coach Peter de Villiers has finally removed the shackles from his team with the selection of Ruan Pienaar and Earl Rose at flyhalf.
There have been doubts about whether De Villiers has been able to pick the squads he wants up to now, due to pressures from within and outside the team.
But the 28-man group announced on Saturday night certainly has a De Villiers stamp on it. Pienaar may not be the long-term solution at flyhalf, but his selection is a brave and positive one.
