FORT WAYNE, Ind.--Oct. 21--Another local news service is scheduled to make its appearance on the Internet next week.

TEK Interactive Group, formerly known as Midwest Internet Exchange, is launching ft-wayne.com to generate advertising revenue, showcase its Web page design skills and promote its other businesses.

Visitors to the ft-wayne.com Web site won't be charged for access to its news service, and individuals won't be charged for classified ads. But businesses will be charged $10 monthly for the advertising.
