HARRISBURG, Pa., Oct. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- AMP Incorporated (NYSE: AMP) today announced that it is the first company in the United States to receive an ISO 9001 Enterprise Certificate for its quality management system from Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance.
The endorsement places 38 AMP facilities in the United States and Mexico under one ISO certificate and permits the use of certified AMP assessors to conduct quality assessments previously performed by an outside organization under ISO requirements.
