PATCHY PROVINCIAL FORM a headache for KIDNEY
Just as the Heineken Cup wasn't won by Leinster or Munster the weekend before, neither was the Magners League trophy handed back this past weekend.
That said, even with just a third of the competition gone, it looks like it will be Munster alone fighting the Irish cause at the top end, with the other three scrapping for mid-table respectability and, with it, that all-important ticket to next season's Heineken Cup.
With due respect to Ulster, who got back to winning ways, it was a bad weekend for Irish rugby, and specifically for the two teams who have set Europe buzzing with their Heineken Cup ...
