Article: Minuteman International Third Quarter Net up 19 Percent

ADDISON, Ill., Oct. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Minuteman International, Inc. (Nasdaq-NNM: MMAN) today reported that operating earnings for the three months ended September 30, 1996 rose 29 percent over the third quarter of 1995. Profit margins expanded in all categories.

Sales were the best for any third quarter in the company's history and represented the 21st time in the past 22 quarters that a year-to-year increase has been recorded. The increase was fueled primarily by strong dealer demand both domestically and internationally, according to Jerome E. Rau, Minuteman's president and chief executive officer.
