SAN DIEGO, Oct. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- The U.S. is facing a major public health workforce crisis - and the health risks associated with the shortage will affect us all if action is not taken to recruit more individuals into public health professions. Earlier this year, the Association of Schools of Public Health (ASPH) completed an assessment of the crisis - the first of its kind - and found that nearly 250,000 more public health workers will be needed than will be available by 2020.
