After the hunting season is over, the guns all cleaned and safely put away, it's time to do something with that freezer full of venison. Make that big pot of venison chili, tray of mouth watering tacos or my favorite - venison sausage. Chili and sausage making are just right for those shut-in stormy days.
Deerwurst or venison bratwurst is a must for the venison lover. This recipe has a strong venison flavor and is not too heavy on the spices. I'm sure it's a genuine German recipe because I got it from an old drunk Irishman!
