It seems like only yesterday that the average notebook computer display could achieve, at best, a resolution of 640x480 in dull monochrome. Those gray days are well behind us, as bigger, colorful displays are hitting the market faster than you can say TFT LCD. Toshiba has taken the initiative with the Tecra 720CDT, which comes with a 12.1-inch display capable of a resolution of 1,024x768.
Toshiba complements this impressive display by packing a hefty list of components into its chunky notebook (2.5x11.75x9.25 inches). Powered by a 133MHz Pentium processor, the Tecra comes with 256K of pipelined-burst cache, 16MB of EDO DRAM, a removable 1.2GB hard drive, a removable ...
