Artisoft's LANtastic network operating system brings a solid suite of LAN connection features to small and mid-size networks. Now in version 7.0, LANtastic has matured from a DOS-based, peer-to-peer NOS into a powerful, multiprotocol, multiplatform NOS. This release can connect your DOS, Windows 3.x, and Windows 95 PCs, and it can let you share modems and Internet connections. LANtastic is easy to install and maintain, and it bundles Netscape Navigator for Web browsing and CoSession Remote for remote control of PCs. LANtastic's 10-user license carries a direct price of $499.
