COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Oct. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- American Telecasting, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATEL) announced today it has completed the sale of its wireless cable assets in Sioux Falls and Yankton, South Dakota to Sioux Valley Rural Television, Inc. ("SVRT") for cash consideration of approximately $3.0 million. SVRT operates wireless cable television systems in Colman and Sioux Falls, South Dakota and also owns the BTA (basic trading area) and rights to certain wireless cable channels which cover the Sioux Falls and Yankton areas. The Yankton system serves approximately 1,400 customers.
