PHOENIX MUSICAL Instruments, has been distributing since 2001 and has supplied thousands of woodwind and percussion instruments to music stores throughout the U.S. The company has just unveiled a new line of band instruments bearing the brand name Hameln. ("Hameln" is the authentic spelling of the German town in "The Pied Piper" and is pronounced the same as the familiar English spelling, "Hamelin.") Targeting the entry-level student market, the Hameln line includes flutes, clarinets, trumpets, saxophones, trombones, piccolos, and French horns.
