MANILA, Oct 31 Asia Pulse - Quezon City retained its rank as the richest local government unit based on the financial report of the Commission on Audit for fiscal year 2007 published on Thursday. In terms of gross income, Quezon City tops the list with P8.437 billion followed by Makati with P8.296 billion (US$6.1 billion) and Manila with P8.240 billion.
Quezon City's current assets amount to P8.086 billion over 2 billion higher than Manila and Batangas and over 3 billion higher than Makati.
Makati tops Quezon City in terms of net income with P3.471 billion and P3.379 billion, respectively.
