BALTIMORE -- Women who are happily married in midlife report fewer sleep problems than unhappily married or unmarried women, based on data from nearly 3,000 women.
Previous studies have shown that married people, especially women, consistently report less insomnia, compared with their single or divorced counterparts, said Wendy M. Troxel, Ph.D., a psychologist in the department of psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh.
