Swedish speciality vegetable fats manufacturer AarhusKarlshamn AB (AAK) (OMX Stockholm:AAK) issued its third quarter figures on Friday (31 October), posting an operating loss of SEK284m, as compared to a profit of SEK224m in the third quarter of 2007.

Excluding non-recurring items, the operating result amounted to a profit of SEK261m, as compared to a profit of SEK161m.
