John Burchenal "Burch" Ault, a former vice president of the Santa Fe campus of St. John's College, died Wednesday at the Rosemont Assisted Living Community. He was 82.
Ault was one of the founders of the Santa Fe Community Foundation. The foundation's president, Billie Blair, said: "He was man who knew that it took a lot of people to invest in this community to make lives good for everyone."
Born in 1926 in Glendale, Ohio, Ault received his bachelor's degree in English literature from Yale University in 1947. He served as a Marine Corps Reserve officer in Korea and later worked for six years with the Radiation Research ...
