Nov. 6--FedEx has filed suit against the U.S. Potal Service, saying an advertising campaign comparing the two delivery services is absolutely, positively false and misleading.

The U.S. District Court lawsuit says the television, radio and print advertising campaign misleads consumers as to the characteristics and prices of the "FedEx 2Day" compared to the USPS "Priority Mail."

FedEX 2Day promised two-day delivery while Priority Mail provides delivery in two to three days measured from Post Office to Post Office, the suit said.
