Slogans--catchy, easy-to-remember phrases--have often offered creative ways for candidates to get their messages across. Here are some of the most famous.
"Tippecanoe and Tyler, Too!"
One of the most memorable of all campaign slogans, it reminded voters in 1840 of General William Henry Harrison's victory over Chief Tecumseh at the Battle of Tippecanoe in 1811. "Tyler, Too" refers to John Tyler, the Whigs' vice-presidential candidate.
