Prostate cancer is the sixth most common cancer in the world and the mosl commonly diagnosed visceral cancer in the United States, representing about 29% of all cancers diagnosed in men each year. In the United States, approximately 218,890 cases are diagnosed annually, and approximately 27,050 men die from prostate cancer.
