Lebanese authorities arrest a "terrorist network" behind deadly bomb attacks in Tripoli. "Several members of a terrorist cell involved in the recent explosions in Tripoli have been arrested", the army said in a statement. The army said an explosives belt was found during the arrest operation carried out by a joint unit of soldiers and Internal Security Forces troopers. A security source told The Daily Star that three Palestinian men, believed to belong to the Fatah al-Islam militant group, were in custody, while the cell's Lebanese leader, Abdul Ghani Ali Jawhar, remained at large.
