Black pepper, turmeric fall on fresh selling
New Delhi, Nov 4 (PTI) -- Prices of black pepper and turmeric today declined by Rs 100 each per quintal in the national capital due to weak trends at producing regions.
Black pepper fell by Rs 100 at 13,800-13,900 per quintal on poor export demand.
Turmeric prices also traded lower at Rs 4,500-6,000 from the last close of Rs 4,600-6,100 per quintal.
Traders said reports of subdued export and domestic demand coupled with fresh selling by stockists and speculators mainly dampened trading sentiments here.
