PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 11, 1996--Interstate Hotels Company (NYSE:IHC), today announced that it has entered into an agreement to purchase the Washington Vista in Washington, D.C.
The Washington Vista is a 400-room, full-service hotel located in downtown Washington, D.C. in close proximity to the nation's Capitol, monuments, museums, government offices and local businesses. Additionally, the hotel is within walking distance to a new professional Sports Center which is scheduled to be completed in late 1997. Interstate intends to convert the hotel to a Westin.
