WHEN a British soldier loses a limb in Iraq or Afghanistan, Alan Tanner is there to help rebuild their broken bodies.
"The fact that I can make these guys whole again is what makes me do what I do," says prosthetist Alan, 57.
He works at Headley Court in Surrey, the specialist rehabilitation centre for injured military personnel.
"Two ofmy patients have even chosen to go back to Afghanistan with limbs we have fitted. If that's what they want to achieve, we try our best to make that possible."
