PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, Nov. 5 (PNA) - The Calamianes Group of Islands that covers the island municipalities of Coron, Busuanga, Culion and Linapacan is like the islands of the Bahamas because the two areas have endowed with similar pristine treasures -- several islands and islets.
It was Palawan Board Member and Philippine Councilors League (PCL)-Palawan Chapter president Jim Gerald Pe who dubbed Calamianes as Bahamas of the East.
